Hi Kevin,
We do not charge the Asset License based on the Asset State, (In Use, In Store, Expired, Disposed) are all Asset State.
We will only charge the licenses based on the IT Assets that you add under the Assets Tab. So when you add Assets into the application, it will get mapped with In Store State, then you will manually change them to In Use. That is the reason there is a different in the number of Assets that is shown.
So if you were told that the asset licenses are charged based on the Asset State, please share us the details to support@servicedeskplus.com along with the proof and this forum link for analysis.
