Are you saying you transferred your database from another database type to MS SQL database? If that is the case I would recommend you call into support for assistance. There could be a myriad of issues in the transfer alone if it was or wasn't done properly.
If you view the globalconfig table in your database to see if the LocalAuthentication is set to true.
You can run the Query that the ServiceDesk Employee posted to change it and see if that works for you.
