Hi,
It is not possible to configure certificate for smtp but we will have to install certificate for the pop or imap based on what you use and that will automatically be applied for SMTP as well. Kindly try to reply to a request from Servicedesk, when it fails, generate support file from the support tab and send it to support@servicedeskplus.com for analysis.
