I have LDAP working in the ServiceDesk Plus software and has been
working great. My struggle is that I have to manually sync LDAP accounts
regularly.
In the Active Directory module, there is an option to "Sync" Active Director or LDAP accounts every 1 day. I discovered if I use FireFox, I can check this box and save it. The problem is when it runs, it creates a duplicate account for all records.
I believe this is related to Active directory creating the domain attached to the username, while LDAP does not.
How can I get this Sync to work without creating duplicating every account each time it syncs?
I can not use active directory authentication due to security policies in place here. LDAP is my preferred and only option. I would like to avoid manually syncing this product every time someone can not log in.
Thank you
