Unable to enter national characters in SDP topic and problem description [IE8, SDP8214]

Hello,
I'm unable to enter national characters (such as ąĄńŃ etc.) into incident topic or description while using IE8.
There is no problem in Firefox v26 or chrome v32.
I'm testing SDP version 8214.
