Dear Violant,
Александр
,
Apologies
for the inconvenience caused.
Wish
to explain the way the users are imported into the system for better
understanding of the problem...
Prior
to 9025, the way users are imported (added / updated ) into the system
is by comparing the users samAccountName from AD. And this is the same
way both add and update is performed into the system.
And
from 9025, the way the users are imported is modified. When we add
users into the system we will check the users by comparing the
samAccountName. And when we add these users into the system we will
add the distinguished name and the objectGUID of the same user. In
your case, as you already have the users into the system, these users
were updated by comparing the users with samAccountName, and updated
with distinguished name and the objectGUID details. And import of
manager fields were introduced , and to fetch the manager user
details, we will identify the existing user based on the
distinguishedName and if not present, we will fetch the user again
from AD based on the distinguishedName and add them.
Subsequent
import of users updation will be based on the objectGUID field, which
is unique and the import should happen quickly.
We
would like you to check the following..
1.
Import the same set of users again and check whether you can able to
import them quickly ( compared to the time of earlier import ) , as
the import should happen by comparing the objectGUID.
2.
Try un selecting the manager field from the fields to be imported and
check whether you see any improvement in the importing time / rate of
users imported into the system.
3.
If you still feel the slowness of importing the users, then please
take a thread dump (QuickActions -> ThreadDump ) during the import process.
Also
did you checked importing the users through scheduled import or manual
import. And during the time of import can you check whether any scan
operations were running ?
Please
provide us with the screen capture of the import fields to get some
idea of the number of additional fields etc.,
If
you still feel the slowness, then please provide us with the support
file (zip the log folder ) ServiceDesk\server\default\logs folder, and
send it to us through servicedeskplus-support@manageengine.com
Appreciate
your understanding.
Regards,
Srikrishnan
